Like most traditions, honoring our elders and relatives would be the upmost important value when it comes to the celebration of CNY. Hence, the word BaiNian was formed~

We had to visit countless (exaggerated) relatives and friends, occupying our heart with their grateful hospitality, indulging our stomach with their homemade cookies and drinks, and finally filling our pockets with red packets~
