I'm gonna call it 'Destiny'. Never once in my life, I randomly click on my friend's facebook shared video that ultimately leads me craving for more songs from this indie band, Pomplamoose. I love her voice, I love their songs, I love Pomplamoose. I always get dreamy feelings every time I listen to their songs, just like a lullaby calming my soul and put me into a deep sleep. I highly recommend their song 'If you think you need some lovin', you'll enjoy it~

Their cover of Angry Birds theme song was the first video I watched before I started to explored through their songs in Youtube.

This time, we celebrated ah Via's Birthday at somewhere special. It's not a fancy restaurant where they serve gourmet dishes but a place called "Shabu Shabu". It's my first time trying out a steamboat (hot pot) buffet, where each person are prepared with a pot of hot boiling soup while the dishes are served on a moving sushi rail.

No cakes no candles but the food was good to satisfied my tummy, I had a great experience eating Shabu Shabu, especially when it comes to their ice blended drinks~ hahaha

What is International Women's Day?

When I first ask my friend about the purpose of celebrating IWD, it lead us no where near to the answer except for a few debates on gender rights and sexism. Hahaha~ We didn't even bother googling or checking out the answer from IWD official website. Ignoring the real purpose of the whole celebration, I guess it was an appreciation day for women's achievements around the world. And it seems I was half right...hehe

"International Women's Day, falls on 8 March, is a global day celebrating the economic, political and social achievement of women from the past, present and future."

UCSI didn't miss the chance on celebrating this global event. The celebration of IWD was a memorable and exciting one, by having incredible band performances, seductive dance performances, magic performances and many more. The expected number of people who turned up on that night was suppose to be 100, but it manage to reach about a huge number of 300 people altogether.

It was certainly an exhausted experience to take around 500 pictures through the event. Unfortunately these are the few best pictures I manage to saved. Hope you enjoy looking at them.

Well the title of the post explains it all. There is no need for further elaboration on the joy and happiness everyone had during their Rabbiting year celebration. If I were to write in such a way, it will gonna end up like another common blog post on CNY...wait aren't we suppose to write something like that to attract more readers?

"Nahhh~ I know you people enjoyed it too" hehe

Seriously I won't be writing on how cool, how great, how magnificent, how awesome or memorable my CNY celebration was, instead I will let the pictures describe it themselves. Which make things easier for me where I don't need to write much. "Hahaha"

The only difference about this year celebration was I did not have any open house on the first day of CNY. It was a routine to have an open house on the first day of CNY, but since the celebration falls on a Thursday, my parents thought of fully utilizing the 4 days of CNY by visiting relatives. I can listen to extra cash flowing in my pocket quicker this year~

And the fact that my pictures are appearing in weird colours was because I applied my noob lomo effect editing on it. I found out that not all pictures could have the lomo effect, cause it would turn out to be a horrible over contrast picture instead. Overall, I hope you all enjoy looking at the pictures and most importantly enjoyed the past Rabbiting celebration.

Sit Back, Relax & Write~

March 2011 marks the most hectic month of my entire Jan - April semester. I'm glad that I only took 2 pathway subjects in this semester, as I was struggling to juggle both assignments and presentations at the same time. Pressure was everywhere, it's either from the lecturers, group mates or even the due date for assignments. Well I know that it is a norm for students to experience such situations in their daily uni life, but the only difference about me in this semester was, I kept pushing myself to achieve perfection. It was a way to test my LIMITS, whether it is to test my stress levels, my failed organizing skills and my active involvement in an productive brainstorming session.

Hence, when my mind couldn't stand the pressure while my body failed on me too, I caught a cold and ended up with a slight FEVER. Unfortunately my FEVER spread like a Plague and it infected my other friends too. "Ouch" so sorry darlings~ hehe. That was 2 weeks earlier and I felt much better now.

Enough with the gibberish nonsense, let's head to the main content of this post~

Soon I will be posting photos on certain occasions and events I've attended. Once I have done editing the pictures, you guys and girls will be able to enjoy viewing it.

the KL Bird Park & National Monument 2011

Filled with excitement and high determination, it was my very first time having a photography session with my darling 550D and together with my VVIP, Mell Yap~

It was certainly a challenging photography experience for me to shoot pictures of birds because they constantly move and evade whenever you try to approach them. Birds are practically not still objects or girl models where one could take pictures of it from any angle. Since I wasn't using a Sigma 70-300mm lens like Mell, I wasn't capable of taking close up pictures of birds. So freaking envy of her rite now.

Overall it was a great experience altogether~ Let's do it again "Yap Yap" hehe

It was our very first time celebrating Aaron and Michelle's Birthday together, a great big thanks to Mell who suggested it at the first place. Organizing and planning their surprise duo Birthday wasn't a hassle for but last minute cupcakes order was a slight regret for our wallets. BUT then again, it was of course a total awesome memorable celebration.

The whole plan was to surprise both superstars on the location of the celebration, so we blindfold them and drove them all the way to WonderMilk.

Hey there!!! It’s a brand New Year filled with Joy, Excitements, Attitude and kicking it off with a whole new list of Resolutions to accomplish!!!

I hope you guys had a wonderful moment celebrating the New Year with your love ones. In fact, I did enjoy celebrating my New Year’s Eve with my family through a seafood dinner at Kuala Selangor. It’s a crazy 1hour 30mins drive to the restaurant but the food was really worth travelling. So sorry guys, I didn’t manage to take any memorable pictures of the dishes and the restaurant~ But once I do, I will post it up kays.

A great New Year indeed and I’ll be sharing most of my time with my brand new friend, partner and lover.

Danger Days: The True Lives of The Fabulous Killjoys~

Emo rock, Punk rock, Alternative rock, no matter how people generalized the band or how the daily mail blames them for a suicidal death of a 13 year old girl, it doesn’t change the fact that I still love them, My Chemical Romance.

As excited as a child who awaits for the arrival of his new toy, 22 Nov 2010 marks an important date for all My Chemical Romance fans around the world. It was the day of the band released their new album called Danger Days: The True Lives of Fabulous Killjoys. It has been too long since I waited for their new album after 4 years from the Black Parade and now I finally obtain my very own Danger Days~

You might think that it was foolish of me to purchase albums when you could just simply download from the internet. Yes indeed it will save time and cost. But the reason I bought the albums was because of its lyric booklet, cool cover and cd design, which I feel its worth keeping it as a collection. I can be crazy over my favourite band~

My expectation of this album would be something similarly to the Black Parade or way better than the previous albums. But to my surprise, the music from this album portrayed a different vision of the band compare to the Black Parade. The band took a different direction on the concept of the album which leads them to dance music, punk rock with a little mix of rock and roll.

After watching few videos of their interview session from YouTube, Gerard mentioned that the band sees its previous album as their enemy and they really wanted to try out something new. So in my opinion, they are taking quite a big risk on the album because its concept has a huge gap of dissimilarity compare to the Black Parade. Hence, most of their fans might view the band differently and who knows that MCR fans will like this album better. I am not trying to say that the Black Parade is way better than Danger Days or the other way around because they are both different album and concept entirely. Not to be bias or anything, in fact I will accept any music produce by My Chemical Romance because their music gave me a huge influence in my life.

So what are you waiting for ladies and gentlemen? Go get your Danger Days soon. xD

Acrophobia or better to be known as the ‘fear of heights’ wasn’t really a big issue for me. Hence!!! I didn’t hesitate on trying out the world’s tallest indoor tube slide, LeX Slide.

Experiencing LeX Slide for the very first time was totally a random plan, I didn’t know about the tube slide till I went to Empire Shopping Gallery with my parents. As I enter the shopping gallery, the very first thing which attracted my attention was a gigantic spiral metal tube located near to the gallery’s escalator. Amazed by its large structure, I thought it was a decoration instead of a slide.

Venue: Empire Shopping Gallery, Subang

Price: RM12 for a single ticket & RM45 for 5 tickets (group package)

Ride duration: 10 seconds

Height: 50 meters

Experience: Awesomely Crazy!!!

How to get a ride in LeX Slide???

Step 1: Get your ticket $$$

Step 2: Gently enter the tube & sit on a "GunnySack"~

Step 3: Cross your hands over your chest, relax & attendants will shove you in to the tube~

Finally: While in the tube...GO CRAZY!!! =D

So what’s so great about LeX Slide? Most people would think that trying out a 10 seconds single slide down for RM12 is not worth it and they rather spend it on something else instead.

“Crazy ah RM12 for 10 seconds!!! I can eat for 2 days I tell you~”
which most typical people would say =D

The reason I wanted to try out LeX Slide is because we won’t be able to experience such adrenaline rush in a tube slide anywhere else. It is the worlds tallest indoor slide tube we are talking about. I know the fact that the level of adrenaline rush wouldn’t be as great as taking rides from a roller coaster, crazy water slides or space shots. Those experiences are common as we can obtain such ride everywhere from any theme park. But unlike LeX Slide, it is something unusual you don’t get to experience everyday.

Sliding down 10 seconds from the top of a 5 storey high shopping gallery is a worth of experience one must have.

If a doctor could become a national astronaut, would it be possible for a biochemist, a psychiatrist or even a lawyer being an amazing radio announcer?

Is the radio announcer the only people who are involve in broad casting the entire program of the day?

Does working in a team with other radio announcers felt better than working along in a show?

What does the radio stations sell besides ‘Air Time’?

These are some of the few questions people would ask when they come across with the radio industry. In fact ‘Radio’ plays a crucial role in affecting our daily life, whether we are at home, at work in the office, trap in a massive jam in our car or anywhere else when the radio was always there to accompany us. The ‘Radio’ does not only sooth us by playing our favourite songs, but it became a medium which provide us with information such as the latest celebrity gossips, news, weather forecast and many more.

Now the major question now is, how does the little box of ‘Radio’ really work?

Planet Radio is the answer for all of the questions above.

Yesterday I participated in the Planet Radio 2010 event which was held at Taylor’s University Lakeside Campus. The event started from 9.00am to 1.00pm which provide the participants on the insight exposure and function of the radio.

Planet Radio tells its audience that there are more job opportunities than just being a radio announcer alone. There are always the Production, Engineering, Sales and Marketing team who work restlessly behind the scene to run a certain radio program.

Moderated by Mr. Malek, BFM Managing Director were also talks from some of our local famous radio announcer Jeremy Teo from Red.fm, Ean from Hitz.fm and Phat Fabes from Fly.fm.

Each of the radio announcers share their stories of how they got involved in their career on becoming who they are today.

Jeremy @Red.fm “I took Psychology in Australia, came back and took a vacation after my studies and here I am a Radio Announcer”

Ean @Hitz.fm “I was working with the marketing team in Hitz.fm before becoming a Radio Announcer”

Phat Fabes @Fly.fm “I made a deal with my Dad, I did his Lawyer thing (Degree in Law) and I could do whatever I want in the future”

What these Radio announcers are trying to say is, you can be a radio announcer even you’re studying none related courses. It is the passion for the job which matters the most.

Overall, I had a fantastic memorable and inspirational time attending the Planet Radio event, it is informative with great exposure about the radio from people who run it. If they are having another event in the future, I will certainly without hesitation attend it.

People, if you did not attend Planet Radio this year, I'm sad to say you've just wasted a chance in a lifetime to experience what I've went through. Let's just hope and pray that Planet Radio will have another event in the future.

My friend, the 350D~

Owning a DSLR has always been a dream for me. After trying out my friend's EOS 400D, my interest on photography tremendously increase. I was amazed on how a DSLR could capture great pictures with different settings during certain lighting. Not to forget with the advance manual settings of the camera such as shutter speed, ISO and aperture, it distinguish itself from any normal point-and-shoot camera... and with the right camera settings, wonderful pictures can be produced.

During the January sem, I got the chance to take pictures with my very own DSLR... Correction it was my university's DSLR.

I was taking Basic Photojournalist as my year 1 elective subject and the university was able to provide limited DSLR to students who don't own one. Lucky for me, I was able to use the university's DSLR without sharing with other students in the class~

Taking pictures with the uni's EOS 350D has really show me a new perspective of taking pictures. A great thanks to my lecturer and friends who was always been there to criticized and improved my photography skills.

But sadly towards the end of the semester, I had to return 350D back to the university... "It has been a great friend and turn out to be almost a part of me"

I won't say that my photography skills are good but I would like to share some of my favourite pictures I took with 350D through my blog.

After setting a record of inactively blogging for almost a year, I’m deeply sorry to any blog readers for my indiscipline, lazy, procrastinating selfish behavior.

Assignments, mid-terms, finals, 2 months of internship, friends and relationships are just mere excuses for not updating my blog. But have no worries about it as I’m about to resurrect my zombie-like blog to life again.

I always dreamt I could be the runner back of the American Football team, but that was just a childish hallucination which I was influenced from a Japanese manga. Hahaha!!! It certainly been awhile since I last updated my blog post…

Updates:

The reason I didn’t update my blog for more than 2 months was because I didn’t have the mood to post about anything… Maybe I was too concentrating on other stuff than just updating my blog… hmm, will review what the other stuff I meant soon.

So… what is the recent updates of my life? I’ve just finished my finals for my short semester and now currently doing my internship with 3 of my friends in Pixarus Communication!!! It’s located in Sri Hartamas!!!

The Premiere Screening of Murderer~~~!!!

First of all, I would love to thank Jackie for having me as his guest for the Premiere Screening of the movie Murderer. Since I was chilling during the semester break, I thought that a hang out with a group of bloggers wouldn't be a bad idea after all. It was certainly fun to meet bloggers again from previous events especially when we get to know each other's background and started making silly jokes together. "Poor Sam, who was made fun of his condom t-shirt... Play safe Sam" Hahaha!!!

Joshua and ME!!!

Before the movie, I had a great dinner at Station Kopitiam, Cineleisure with the guys... Erm not actually that great since the food was just moderate for me. "Should had a Big Mac set that night!!!" While having dinner, we were discussing mainly about the current events of Nuffnang and "How Jackie wants people to nominate him in the Asian-Pacific Blog Award which is gonna held in Singapore" Hahaha!!! Good luck Jackie for your nominations!!!

After collecting the tickets from Nuffnang's booth, we thought of slaughting some time by bowling since we had 45mins extra before the movie starts. "It was a bad idea afterall... time management for us was totally a screw up!!!"

The truth was... playing bowling in 30mins and 60 rounds with 6 players all together was a bad decision. After knowing we were 10mins late for the movie, most of the throws was simply lame or lack of concentration and accuration. Hahaha!!! "But still we had a great time all together didnt we???"

Here's my personal opinion about the movie... It could have been a good movie if it doesn't have any resemblance to the recent movie I watched "Orphan". I like the way they carry the whole movie and how all certain mystery of murder scene connects to the hero. Aaron Kwok did a good job in this movie. "So any Aaron Kwok's die hard fans out there, make sure not to miss this movie..." Hahaha!!! But I totally dislike the ending... Sorry, but this is just my personal review bout the movie so... "No offence!!!"

"Thanks Nuffnang!!!" I won myself 2 passes of the premiere screening of the movie 'Orphan'. Since I had a pair of tickets with me, I decided to hand the other ticket to Joseph. "Lucky fella" He didn't only get to watch a free movie but he was able to enjoy a good lunch with us that day... Owh... Joseph wasn't the only lucky person that day.

Bala been complaining how bored he was during the semester break, somehow the light of hope shone on him and granted him a free ticket to that movie. "That lucky fella... Hahaha!!!"

What do I think about the movie? No worries, I'm not letting any spoilers out. Honestly this was actually my first thriller movie I watched in a cinema. The storyline of the movie was good and soothing... Completely hated most of the "Jack in the Box" scenes but I totally like how most angles of the scenes in the movie was taken. It brings a closeness feeling to me as an audience... Hahaha!!!

I'm not just going to give compliments all the way through out this post. There were few scenes in the movie which doesnt actually make any sense to me. Though the most of the prediction of the ending was true but I felt that the movie doesn't really tell much about Esther. I was expecting it would explain more about Esther in a way... maybe some few scenes about her pass or maybe something more about her secrets. I would really love movies which have a good explanation... Alright, that's all I can talk about this movie.

Like most of the time when someone finally decided to update his blog after a "LONG" period of procrastination, somehow the word 'Sorry' will pop out from no where. "Sorry~~~!!!" and I was not procrastinating at all. Few weeks back, I had to finish up most of my final assignments and last week I sat for one of my final's paper. Pretty hectic but yeah... this is my life. Hahaha~~~!!!

If you could remember in my previous post, I uploaded a picture of a Canon 350d SLR just for some random fun. But I didn't know that the picture could lead to thousand questions instead of words. Hahaha!!! "Sorry but this SLR isn't mine, it belongs to my university..." Since my friends were taking basic photography this semester, I thought of playing with it in class at that time. Not to say that I wasn't paying attention, but some lecturer could really bore you off.

Don't you feel strange by looking at all these weird pictures? Erm don't get the wrong idea, I didn't use any illustrator tools or photoshop programs to edit these pictures. The pictures were taken by my W580i SE handphone with an additional effect called "Negative".

I've discovered that some of the pictures taken by negative effects in handphones could actually turn out really cool. Definitely not pictures of people cause in the end they will look like blue aliens from planet pluto. Hahaha!!!

"What? Your car been broke in again???" That was my friends impression when I met them for lunch yesterday. My car's steering cover was completely damaged during the first attempt when the "asshole" try to brake into my car, which was last year. Too bad he wasn't smart enough to start my car and take a spin in KL at that time... Hahaha!!! Nothing was stolen except for some few coins which I usually use to pay the toll... Wouldn't it be easy if he could have just beg or ask me some coins!!! Instead of destroying the entire steering cover!!!

I thought there won't be any "assholes" who is stupid enough breaking in to my car, since I've install a safety lock on my steering wheel... But I was dead wrong~~~!!!

Yesterday morning when I was approaching to my car... I found the keyhole on my car door was MISSING!!!"Gosh!!! Why would those 'assholes' wanna torture me like this? You want me to get a new car from dad izit?" Hahahaha~~~!!! Surprisingly this time, there was nothing stolen except for the missing keyhole... "But I didn't left anything valueble in my car!!! Don't tell me they want to steal some old junk non functioning tapes???"

The Venture to KL Bird Park~~~!!!

As far as I could remember, it was actually few years back when I last visited the Kuala Lumpur Bird Park. Hmm... Maybe it was 3 to 4 years back when it was still under renovation. Owh well... "Hahaha!!!" this is definitely another procrastinated post, BUT~~~ last week, it was certainly a hectic week for me when I had to rush for written assignments and presentation!!! So sorry people~~~!!!

It all started when Kristine suggested to go for a group photo shooting in the KL Bird Park... After a few online discussions, we set an appropriate date to meet (4th July 09) and in few days time, we set off to the Bird Park!!! This was actually the 2nd time I went for a group photo shooting trip. If you could remember in my previous post, I took pictures of animals with my crazy bunch when I was in the National Zoo. It was actually a very unique experience when it comes to taking pictures of animals, or should I say a rare opportunity. How often can you take pictures of various animals or bird in KL? All we get are pigeons, rodents, cats and dogs from the streets rite...??? Hahaha!!!

There is a section in the bird park where we were given an opportunity to feed parrots, "Owh they are furious I tell yaa" They would fight among each other to get the cup of "Kuaci" I was holding... Some of them even peck my finger cause they thought it was food as well... Not so smart eh? "Bird Brain" Hahaha!!!

Owh here is the interesting part of the day... "Bird Shits!!!" That's right, you heard me, I said "Bird Shits!!!" It was everywhere, on the floor, on picnic tables, on the stall's roof... And some of the bird shit even landed on US!!! Tragically it landed first on Jackie's hair, then Joseph's t-shirt and later on my shoe!!! Kristine was the lucky one who didn't recieve any warm welcome from them that day... "Uhh lucky you Kristine!!!"

It was totally an awesome trip to the KL Bird Park... but we didn't have enough time that day, cause Joseph was rushing back for his work. Hahaha!!! Poor him... I would like to thank my friends who taught me how to use a DSLR in uni, I certainly learn alot even though I haven't take 'Basic Photography' subject yet. I noticed I know how to use my digital camera better than before!!! WooHoo!!!

Do you know, there are more than 700 homeless distress animals taken by SPCA in a month? But due to the limited shelter in SPCA, some of this animals have to put into sleep (euthanize). Why do we rare pets from the Pet Shop instead of going to SPCA? Does anyone even aware of what and where exactly is SPCA? Bet you guys don't know nuts bout it rite? Hahaha!!! Kidding owkie!!!

Well after my presentation about SPCA last Thursday, I was missing the pups (puppies) in SPCA like mad... So I decided to go to SPCA with Mell again on Saturday with a little contribution of old newspapers with me... Another reason we went back to SPCA because we wants to sell SPCA's merchandise to our coursemates back in UCSI... Hahaha!!! And all money goes to SPCA funds owkie, we don't get any single cent for doing this...

Owh you poor thing... (rub rub rub)

Just take a look at them, they have to kept behind bars and stay in small cage cubicles most of the time. They don't have a proper place to stay!!! Dogs and cats have feelings to you know, they have feelings like most of us humans... Do you like to be kept in a cage? No? Well they need a place where they can run free and most importantly...to be LOVEd!!! They need someone who can care for them, feed them, teach them tricks, praise them when they are happy, scold them when they are naughty... Think about it~~~

~The Movie~

YAY~~~!!! It was certainly that anticipating moment I've been waiting for, I've finally watched Transformers : Revenge of The Fallen last Sunday!!! Gosh! It was certainly one of the best and most satisfying movie I watched this year... Compare to Blood??? Blood was a disappointment. Hahaha!!!

I wanna thank Nicol for inviting me for the movie!!! I was really happy when she told me she got the tickets for the movie!!! Hahaha!!!

No worries people... not gonna leak anything bout the movie here but I'm just gonna compliment a few things bout the movie. Compare to the first movie of Transformer, this time it was way better because it has more actions (fighting scenes) and hilarious jokes!!! From what I think, it was hard to focus on the fighting scene in the first Transformers movie, but I bet Micheal Bay learn his lesson on complex robo fighting scenes doesn't have any impact to the audience... So in this movie, Revenge of the Fallen, the fighting scenes were made clearer by slowing down the pace of the scene (exactly like The Matrix) and the great camera angles where the audience could felt the punches and ass kicking impact during the movie.

Salutes!!! Extreme Cun Movie!!!

~Dinner~

After the movie, we had a really really hard time deciding on what to have for dinner that night!!! Our first choice for that night was Nando's, but unfortunately the restaurant exhaust fan was not working at that time. Hence, the whole restaurant was poluted with thick grill smoke and we decided not to have dinner there.

Thanks to Kristine, our saviour, she introduced us to Rak Thai, a Thai Restaurant!!! The food wasn't bad at all and its worth paying for. Rak Thai is located at the Lower Ground (LG) floor of Gardens... Go try it out yaa~~~!!!

We had problems ordering our food because we were crapping most of the time!!!

The Tale of The Missing Key~~~!!!

Once upon a time... (Hahahaa!!!) Silly Owh Max was the guardian of the Great Doors of his home, he has a ring of 7 mystical keys for the 7 mystical locks. Silly Owh Max knew that it was a great resposible for him to guard all the mystical keys, if he ever lose any of these keys... he will be in deep twwauble (trouble).

So one night, after a satisfying dinner from the Grand Hawker Stalls in SS17 Petaling Jaya, he reacted like a fool after knowing that the mystical keys was Missing!!! (Jeng jeng jeng!!!)

"Owh No!!! The Mystical Keys are missing!!! I'm gonna be in deep twwauble!!!"

Silly Owh Max was really really frusrated at that time, he was (50%) sure of himself that he left the mystical keys on the car door handle before procceding for dinner. Leaving the Mystical Keys hanging on the car door handle was usually a habit of his... He never knew that one day it would slipped away, LOST & never to be seen again.

Minutes after checking the entire car, the key was not to be seen anywhere... Silly Owh Max became more and more stress. He was worry sick "Gosh where owh where could it be!!!" He quickly report the matter to his master, Daddy (Hahaha!!!). Master Daddy suggested to head back to the Grand Hawker Stalls to search for the mystical keys.

It was really stressful for Silly Owh Max because if the mystical keys are no where to be found, the locks of the Great Doors have to replace to new ones. And he doesn't want that to happen...

Returned to the Grand Hawker Stalls, he went to search for the mystical keys in the huge parking lot. Moments later, Silly Owh Max saw a small glimpse from the ground. Running towards it, he hope and pray it was the Mystical Keys... And it was really the Mystical Keys!!! Silly Owh Max was so so happy that he jump for joy and learned a lesson on that day. "I will not pwut twis (this) mystwical kews (keys) hanging on the car door hwandle agwain (again)!!!"

Hahaha!!! Gosh this is silly!!! By the way... I didn't really jump for joy but my heart did lar... Hahaha!!!

Serious people, this was a real story which happened to me last week... Not gonna lose them again!!! Never!!! Cheers yaaa~~~

Gosh~~~!!! I'll call it a day... My car broke down yesterday after Intro to IT class in front of Samosa Ca'fe. Maybe this was the curse of parking in front of the Ca'fe... Serious!!! This wasn't the first time it happened to me!!! It was so serious when my car broke down for the first time, cause my car's battery weakened for a while and after starting the engine for a few times, my car roar back to life...

But yesterday's tragedy was a bit different, my car couldn't start at all even after I try cleaning up the battery plugs!!! Thought I could fix it without any help from my dad, but eventually have to call him to work things out... I need to be independent since I'm a mechanic's son!!! Hahaha!!!

Well this isn't entirely the end of my post for today, there was something unexpected happened when I came back for dinner yesterday.

My house was flooded with drain water from the TOILET again!!!

Well me dad expected this to happen anyway... Since we are staying in the first floor of a 3 storey high apartment and the first floor of this apartment will always be the victim of the flooded drain water tragedy. Besides... it happened almost every year, just that we didn't have any proper evacuation plans. Hahaha!!! But it was a stress for my mum cause she hates this kind of catasrophy

Why did it happend?

Well... since our understanding neighbours were so kind of throwing various stuff in their toilet bowl which eventually blocked the ground floor's drain. Hence, the drain water flow above the pipe and rises to the my house's toilet drain and flooded my entire house!!!

Well me and my dad taken care of everything yesterday, cleaned up the whole house till 1am in the morning. Owh what a day... wat a day... *sigh*...

Lately I noticed I've been coughing quite a lot... especially when I feel my throat is really dry... I think this might be the aftermath of sore throat I had recently. Should stop eating spicy food and cold drinks~~~!!! Or maybe my dry throat was caused by the hazy weather the other day. "Blame the weather~~~!!!" Hahaha!!!

But it's strange that the cough wasn't the result of the food that I ate, okay obviously I didn't cough instantly after 5 mins I ate curry chicken rice and drank a cup of 'sirap ice' for lunch. It happens when my throat is usually dry and itchy!!! Worst comes to worst...warm water made my throat even more itchy... *sigh*

Usually it start off with the itchy bitchy-ness in my throat before I cough as if I'm about to vomit my lungs out. Just taken a cough medicine moments ago, hope I'll be fine before my presentation on Thursday!!!

Big head is ill... Gotta sleep first... Tatas~~~!!!

Happy Birthday Kok Kian aka Simba!!!

Before this... we thought of having Simba's Surprise Birthday Party in KLCC's park, but since he have to go to PD with his friends over the weekend, we have to come out with another plan. So last thursday, we had our "general gang meeting" and most of us agreed that we should surprise him next morning.

So on Friday morning, we woke him up from sleep and surprised him at his house "HAPPY BIRTHDAY 'SIMBA'~~~!!!" You should see how was his reaction... Hahaha!!!

Overall... I was kind a disappointed on the movie because of the story line, some scences of the movie doesn't make sense at all and worst... there are scences which was not well describe. The first few parts of the movie was good but when it comes to the end... it's juz ridiculous!!! There was alot of cut scences which was really annoying as well!!! Have to agree with Joseph that the anime movie was way better than this. I seriously don't recommend anyone to watch this movie... Owh you'll just waste another 2 hours of your life... Hahaha!!!

"Woohoo~~~!!! Tiger Beer Party Babe!!!" Last week Jackie asked me whether if I'm free on Saturday, because one of his friend has a spare invitation for me to attend a Party'eee!!! Yesh you heard it people, it's Nuffnang Tiger Beer Standout Party!!!

It was suppose to be some kind of a costume party where people dresses up out of the ordinary, they have only one purpose, which is to "Standout" among the society... Nuffnangers have to write a post with the title "I'm the Standout in my life" in order to receive invitation to this party. Not all participants are able to recieve the invitation, the post will be judged by it's creativeness.

Here is how it all started... 2 months ago, Nicol asked me if I'm interested to performed for a birthday party. I was actually hesitating to accept the offer actually... So this is where I contacted Jackie and later he introduced me to my dearest client, "Griza aka Porkchop".

It was not really a birthday party which I thought it was, but its just a normal birthday surprise for the Birthday girl "Kalai"... Griza requested 2 songs from me. The first one was "Happy Birthday" and the other one would be "Beautiful by Akon". After 3 days of motivating practices and a tough time memorizing on the lyrics, the day have finally arrived. The venue was at Boulevard's corridor, Mid Valley, time around 7.00pm...

Terminator Salvation Premier~~~!!!

Though it might be a little too late... But I wanna really thank Nicol for forcing me to join the Terminator Salvation contest the other day, if it wasn't for her I bet I won't be getting the tickets... Hahaha!!! "I finally have 2 free entry passes for the movie!!! Woohoo!!!" How did I get the tickets anyway??? Hmmm....

It all begin when I joined Nuffnang 2 weeks ago, I was half drunk from drinking Heineken when Nicol nudged me in msn. Like I said she introduce me to join this Terminator Salvation contest which was held by Nuffnang. I didn't really expected to win the tickets so I just wrote an my entry and submit it to Nuffnang. Few day's later when I was checking my email, I was invited for the screening of the movie~~~!!! "Gosh that was so unexpected!!!"

Owkie... Let's cut the story short, the venue for the screening was at Cathway Cineplex Damansara, time 9.30pm on the 26th of May... I met Jackie there!!! And he introduced me to a bunch of bloggers!!! I was really glad to meet them, they are such interesting people. Especially when they talked bout their interest and being noisy is a part of their daily norm I guess... But it was really amazing though.

Bout the movie, who is this guys John Connor was talking to in the trailer? Is he a friend or foe? Was he a part of any previous Terminator movie? What is the machine's objectives in this movie? Kekeke!!! So not gonna tell you... Though I was watching it from the front row which made my neck ache, it was certainly a must watch movie of the year. If you like the previous Terminator movies, you must definitely watch this... I'm not gonna spoil this movie by telling you bout it, just go watch it owkie!!!

So it was day 2, Jessie went back to KL that morning for the her orientation briefing... It was sad tat she can't join us for the rest of the day. I wanna thank Conrad for being so patience waking me up in the morning, if I'm not mistaken I think I had a hard time waking up that morning... Hahaha!!!

"If you don't respect your father, your son will treat you back the same in the future" That was what my mum used to tell when I was young. I never actually took this seriously till I begin to witness some of the problems in my paternal family was facing.

This is real life story ladies and gentlemen, I'm not making this up just for the sake of publicity. Due to certain reasons, my grandpa was not well respected by any of his children. From what I think, none of his children ever respected him as an elderly in this family... all they could think of was just another extra burden on their shoulder which they need to carry. Other than criticizing him for smoking too much and lazing at home doing nothing at all, none of them did actually care to help him out... Maybe it was something terrible he did to them when my dad was still in his youth...but does this mean that he still doesn't deserve any respect or care from his children??? What do u think, owh please do leave some opinions?

The other day me and my mum discussed on the theory of respecting our father "If you don't respect your father, your son will treat you back the same in the future"... We try to discuss whether such theory ever apply in real life. My mum think it's an adaption of behavior, we treat our son because we are so used of treating our father the same.

But still I don't believe it, since I believe in changes in attitudes and personalities of a person. But when I reflect on the problems to my paternal uncle is facing, it suddenly changed my perception... Hahaha!!! My uncle have some serious problem with his son, they had a big communication problems which in the end it led my cousin to more serious troubles...

So my question is, how are we gonna break this chain... this so called "fatherly son chain"??? Is there a chance to change? Hmmm... I wonder...

After I found there were some defaults on my MUSE DVD today, I quickly went to the Gardens to replace a new one!!! Surprisingly I was able to replaced my MUSE HAARP album to a new one without any questioning!!! YAY~~~!!!

But seriously I still think that the owner of the retail store gave me a display DVD... I asked him for a new album last Friday, but he said that's was the only one left. My mum told me not to take the last album on the shelf cause it might be a display product. BUT... the owh foolish stubborn ME' didn't want to listen to her. Hence the fault is on ME'...

But again... that doesn't conclude the whole problem on my new DVD, I still state out that "Original" Cds and Dvds should give 100% satisfaction guarantee to the consumers!!! Sorry lar... but I'm really a "Original" Cd freak-ooo....

"Gosh!!! You call this an original DVD?" I was so pissed off moments ago after knowing that some tracks in my new H.A.A.R.P - MUSE DVD could not read!!! And you call this original DVD!!!??? Is this how 'you' treat us consumers? 'You' try to stop us from purchasing pirated Cds and Dvds but 'you' can't assure us a 100% performance guarantee on the this Dvd!!! How would 'you' even want to curb this problem when 'you' are creating one yourself~~~!!!

We are not talking bout pirated Cds and Dvds here ladies and gentlemen, this is serious business... We want 100%, I mean 100% satisfaction!!! And Original Dvds are expensive!!!

The Cd was owkie... Just that the Dvd is giving me a headache!!! I bought this Cd Dvd from one of the Record Store in the Gardens last friday, costed me RM49.90... I'm so gonna complain tomorrow!!! Just watch ME'!!!

SSLA End Sem Trip Port Dickson~~~!!! Part 1

Seriously I was really looking forward to the end semester's Port Dickson Trip!!! Though it was just 2 days trip to PD but then it was memorable and amazingly fun!!! SSLA held this trip in PD on the 26th - 27th of April 2009, this trip was open to SSLA members only... Sorry to those who are not SSLA members. Hahaha!!! I felt sorry for those who couldn't make it on that day, you guys missed all the fun!!!

On Sunday morning we met up in Weenee's room for a short brief bout the trip... Sorry Weenee, I've invaded your privacy without seeking for further authorization... Hahahaha!!!

After a 2 hours journey in Wilson's car, we finally arrived to PD~~~!!! It was the first time I've to PD, smelling its salty air, seeking its bright blue sky and having lunch in one of their town's coffee shop!!!

Besides all the fun moment from BBQing the delicious chickens, we went to the beach to step on thousands of hermit crabs!!! Just can't forget Jessie and Nicol's reaction at that time... Hahaha!!! The trip wasn't just focusing bout all the fun moments, but I believe it actually created a closer bond among us... it made us understand more about each other's behaviors, lifestyles and share our personal experiences. Skytrek~~~!!!

"Yeah!!! I'm going Skytrek this Sunday!!! What is Skytrek by the way???" Hahaha!!! That was my impression few weeks back when I was going Skytrek-ing with my friends. Before my finals, Poh Mei invited me to join skytrek-ing. In my mind, I thought Skytrek was just another type of hiking activities. What I didn't realize was, it is more extreme than hiking!!!

From what I think, Skytrek is an extreme outdoor activity which require us to wear this special belt and some safety hooks on it... Erm, forgotten what it was called again. Darn it!!! Anyway it cost us rm40 for the whole event including gloves and entrance fee...

Before heading to the real obstacles, we were brief on safety measurements and the usage of the unique belt. Owh and one more thing, the facilitators are not resposibile if there's any injuries and lost of life... We have to play at our own risk!!! Any false mistakes, you are a goner... kekeke!!!

After the briefing was over, we were brought to another station where most of the obstacles involved a much higher height. The height of 4 storey high building I guess. Way high people!!! The heights are terrible scary!!!

There's an Exit for those who wants to forfeit the obstacles, but thank god none of us did use that Exit cause the Exit was called "Ayam Exit" You don't want people calling you chicken in the end rite? Kekeke!!!

Gosh seriously it was more thrilling than all the genting thrill rides!!! I really enjoyed Skytreking... Hmmm Poh Mei!!! Let's go fro round 2!!! Kekeke!!! People... The truth is the cool looking belt that I was wearing for that entire day, was not comfartable at all!!! Yesh... they might look really cool and best of all you could do Flying Fox with it, but it's not comfy at all!!! Hahaha!!!

Owkiee guys... As I've mentioned in my previous post bout the magnificent tiny frog's camouflage, here are a few pictures of them... They are so so so CUTE~~~!!!

Except for this particular frog which manage to escape from the Reptile room... "Is it poisonous? I wanna rub its head..." Hahaha... Something that I didn't manage to do... I still wonder how it manage escape... Hmmm!!!

I'm not sure what's the name of this animal... but apparently they were swimming in a pool of their own bowel waste... It was floating on the surface of the water, that's how we got to know... ARGH~~~!!! A new method on how to keep ya fur smooth is it? Kekeke!!!

We were resting in the reptile room cause it's air conditioned, since most of us were sweating like pigs... hahaha~~~!!! It was a challenge for me in the Reptile room because I it was very hard to spot those tiny little frogs in a large glass cubicle... Their camoflage works remarkably!!!
